The facial pain syndromes are a group of terrifying and disabling disorders of the nerves in the head and neck. The most well known and distressing, is Trigeminal Neuralgia. Once known as Tic Douloureaux, it is one of the most severe and frightening pains known. Patients with these disorders deserve a lot of compassion.
